With roots dating back to the late 1950’s, the Richmond Symphony League (RSL) supports the Richmond Symphony through fundraising, education and community involvement. The RSL, a non-profit membership organization, also cultivates a volunteer base to support the Richmond Symphony.
The RSL provides consistent, substantial financial support to the Richmond Symphony through an annual pledge that ranges from $75,000 to $150,000 each year. Our endowment fund, loan fund, and scholarships are additional ways that we support the musicians of the Richmond Symphony.
The Student Concerto Competition, Discovery Concerts, Come & Play events, and more are examples of the RSL’s commitment to music education. While the RSL is renowned for the biennial Designer House event, we also host a variety of events and fundraisers including Champagne & Chocolates, the Symphony of Trees and more.
